Block Users

What blocking does

• Prevents the blocked user from sending you new messages.
• Hides your profile from each other in discovery where applicable.
• Stops notifications from the blocked user.
• Does not automatically notify the other person that they were blocked.

Block from a profile

• Open the user's profile.
• Select Block.
• Confirm. You can unblock later from Account Settings if you change your mind.

Block from chat

In a conversation, open the chat menu and choose Block. This also stops further messages in that thread.

Manage blocked users

• Go to Account Settings → Blocked Users.
• View your block list and unblock individual users.
• Blocking is reversible; reporting is separate and recommended for policy violations.

Block vs. report

Blocking is a personal safety tool for your experience. Reporting alerts our moderation team to review policy violations. Use both when someone behaves inappropriately.
