Safety Tips

Practical guidelines to help you stay safe while chatting, meeting, and sharing on TouchMe.

1. Protect your personal information

Avoid sharing your home address, workplace, banking info, OTP codes, or ID documents in chat.
Use in-app messaging first instead of moving immediately to external apps.
Be careful with links and attachments from people you do not know.

2. Verify before you trust

Look for profile consistency: photos, bio, behavior, and response patterns.
Be cautious if someone quickly asks for money, gifts, or urgent help.
If a story feels manipulative or too dramatic, pause and verify.

3. Meet safely in person

Choose a public place for first meetings and arrange your own transport.
Tell a friend where you are going and share a check-in time.
Trust your instincts. Leave immediately if something feels off.

4. Use platform safety tools

Report suspicious, abusive, or scam behavior as soon as possible.
Block users who cross boundaries or make you uncomfortable.
Do not engage with threats; document and report them.

5. Stay safe during chats and calls

Do not reveal financial details or send payment screenshots.
Avoid explicit content sharing with people you do not fully trust.
Watch for pressure tactics like urgency, guilt, or secrecy.

6. Account security basics

Use a strong unique password and update it regularly.
Never share login codes with anyone, including people claiming to be support.
Log out from shared devices and review account activity periodically.

Emergency reminder: If you feel in immediate danger, contact local emergency services right away.
