TOUCHME Fake Profile & Impersonation Policy

1. PURPOSE

This Fake Profile & Impersonation Policy explains how TOUCHME detects, investigates, and removes fake accounts, impersonation, deceptive identities, and other forms of identity abuse.

Our goal is to build one of the safest and most trustworthy social discovery platforms.

2. OUR COMMITMENT

Authenticity is one of the core values of TOUCHME.

Users should feel confident that the people they interact with are genuine.

Although no online platform can guarantee that every profile is authentic, TOUCHME continuously works to reduce fake accounts and deceptive behavior.

3. WHAT IS A FAKE PROFILE?

A fake profile includes, but is not limited to:

• accounts using false identities;
• fabricated personal information;
• stolen profile photos;
• AI-generated identities used to deceive others;
• accounts pretending to be another person;
• accounts created solely for scams or spam;
• duplicate accounts intended to manipulate users;
• accounts created to artificially increase popularity or engagement.

4. IMPERSONATION

Impersonating another individual or organization is strictly prohibited.

Examples include:

• pretending to be another user;
• pretending to represent a public figure;
• pretending to work for TOUCHME;
• pretending to represent a company without authorization;
• using another person's identity without permission.

5. STOLEN PHOTOS

Users may upload only photos that they own or are legally authorized to use.

The following are prohibited:

• photographs copied from social media;
• photographs copied from websites;
• celebrity images;
• influencer photographs;
• AI-generated images intended to deceive;
• edited photographs intended to hide identity.

6. AUTOMATED DETECTION

TOUCHME may use:

• Artificial Intelligence;
• facial similarity detection;
• duplicate image detection;
• behavioral analysis;
• spam detection;
• device analysis;
• fraud prevention systems.

These tools assist moderators but do not automatically determine guilt in every case.

7. USER REPORTS

Users are encouraged to report profiles they reasonably believe are fake or misleading.

Reports should be submitted honestly.

Abuse of the reporting system is prohibited.

8. INVESTIGATION

When a fake profile is suspected, TOUCHME may:

• request additional verification;
• temporarily restrict account features;
• remove suspicious content;
• conduct manual review;
• suspend the account during investigation.

Each case is reviewed individually where appropriate.

9. ENFORCEMENT

Depending on the circumstances, TOUCHME may:

• issue a warning;
• require identity verification;
• remove misleading content;
• suspend the account;
• permanently terminate the account.

Repeated violations may result in permanent removal.

10. SCAMS

Many fake accounts are created to commit fraud.

Examples include:

• romance scams;
• cryptocurrency scams;
• investment scams;
• fake giveaways;
• fake charities;
• financial extortion;
• requests for money;
• phishing attempts.

Accounts involved in scams may be removed immediately.

11. VERIFIED USERS

Verification reduces the likelihood of fake accounts but does not guarantee future behavior.

Users should continue exercising caution when communicating with others.

12. LAW ENFORCEMENT

Where required by applicable law, TOUCHME may cooperate with competent authorities investigating identity theft, fraud, organized crime, or other serious criminal offences.

13. CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT

TOUCHME continuously improves fraud detection technologies and moderation procedures to better identify fake profiles while minimizing false positives.
